In this entry level, 4 hour workshop, students will learn the basic fundamentals of spindle woodturning. Focus will be on safe lathe operation, carbide and high speed steel (HSS) tool techniques, finishing and sharpening. Students will also complete a small project incorporating all of their learned techniques.
All tools, materials, and personal protective equipment will be provided to students. However, feel free to bring your own tools if you'd like.
