Most metal handles sold for spindle turning are designed for use with both spindle and bowl turning tools. However, the size and weight are often bulky and more suited to bowl turning than spindle turning. Since spindle turning often includes fine detail work, the slightly shorter and light weight of the KC Tools handle is more responsive and allows the turner to better feel the cut being made when turning fine details. It has a comfortable foam handle and a convenient place to store the hex wrench.
