The Dublin Billy pays homage to the Dublin, Ireland Police Billy Clubs in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
I turn each Dublin Billy from beautiful Cocobolo here in my Virginia Beach shop. Each unique piece will have its own incredible one-of-a-kind grain pattern and coloring.
The Billy is 23” in length with traditional turned grips.
The traditional oil and wax finish deepens the incredible grain pattern of this heirloom quality piece.

I love the Dublin Billy for what it is not as much as for what it is. First for what it is, it's solid, honest, hand crafted no nonsense piece. It's one of those pieces that speaks for itself. If it were a shotgun, it would be a 12 gauge slide action that announces its presence in a way that makes you wonder whether or not you're going to have to use it.
For what it is not. It isn't too big, too small, too heavy, or too light. While heirloom quality it isn't fancy or over stated. Despite probably not having to use it very often it is certainly one of my new favorite hand tools.

Great woodworking ability and exceptionally ģood and very nice person. Love the cocobolo and ebony mallet Jeff made for me, it is without a doubt really cool it's beautiful and Works wonderfully also!!!
